Healthy Habits, No Bean Turkey Chili

Every once in a while, I make something that is edible.  Even rarer than that, I make something delicious.  This is delcious and super healthy.  It was a mistake, that ended up great.  One of those "use whatever you have in fridge/pantry" meals.  You can split the recipe in half, but when I use the crockpot, I like to fill it up and freeze the leftovers for lunches that week.  This is a full crockpot.

INGREDIENTS

MEAT

2 lbs ground turkey (browned in frying pan)

SPICES

cumin:  about 4 TBS

oregano: about 1 TBS

cayenne: about 1/2 tsp

salt:  about 1/2 tsp

chili powder:  about 8 TBS

CANNED GOODS

tomato paste:  2 cans

vegetable stock (or chicken or beef):  3 cups

canned cream corn:  1 can

canned corn:  1 can

FRESH PRODUCE

red pepper: 2 without seeds and diced

green pepper:  1 without seeds and diced

onion:  2 small diced

garlic cloves:  4 minced (or just use garlic powder 4 tsp)

INSTRUCTIONS

First, brown the turkey and break it up into small pieces.  Then, dump it all into the crockpot, stir and cook on low for 8 hours.  You will love it.  And, it is minus the toots.

This is the steps I added to the crockpot.  It becomes more thick and plump with cooking.  I will post those pics later because I ate dinner before taking photo.  Amateur.
