A Flight Attendant's Bag: Downy Wrinkle Releaser

Every once in a while, there is a product that is a lifesaver for a flight attendant.  Today's lifesaver product is Downy Wrinkle Releaser.

Why is it one of my favorite products?

  1.  It is $1.50.

  2. It is an Odor Eliminator.  You pick up smells in your polyester uniform.  The plane stinks.  People sometimes stink.  People sometimes smell too good.  By the end of the day, you smell like the blue juice from the lav.  You can take a shower, but rarely are washing machines available. On a 4 day trip...you could be wearing your uniform for 4 days. That's a lot of stink.

  3. It removes static.  Anyone who has ever worn a pair of tights or pantyhose/nylons knows what I am talking about.

  4. It releases wrinkles.  See picture below.  This was after about 10 seconds of spraying. It is not perfect, but it is a tremendous difference. It helps with layover clothes that have wrinkles from being in your suitcase, plus it'll save you about 10 minutes of ironing your uniform on your way back out on the road.

I get mine from Target in the travel area.  They sell 3 oz bottles so it fits all travel requirements.  Topnotch travels, y'all!

Directions: Spray on your clothes and then tug a bit to release wrinkles from packing.  It can also be used as an ironing aid.
